| Every winter I get chapped hands. I have my hands in water a lot, and I guess that might be the problem. I keep Vasoline Intensive Care Lotion handy, but my skin on the sides of my hand above my pinky fingers are rough and I can see the dry skin. I guess I must be missing some of the essential oils in my skin. Does anyone else have that problem. I am not as bad as my mother was when she was alive. In the winter her hands would crack and bleed in the winter months. Do you get that way? I know I can't be the only one who thinks she has alligator skin on her hands at times. Today is not so bad, but some days are worse, and I wonder if maybe I am not getting enough fats in my diet sometimes. It seems to me that I would be getting enough. I take my vitamins and all... so I am stumped as to why my skin gets so dry. |
