myLot Discussions
your christmas wish list
hi fellow mylotters!i'm starting this discussion as a follow up to my other two previous discussions. the first one, i asked if you think you'll be spending more, less, or about the same for your holiday shopping this year. the second one i asked about your most innovative ways to cut down on your holiday shopping this year. for this third discussion, i'm going the complete opposite of the second one and i ask you guys to splurge and spend as much as you can to buy gifts to the most important person in the world... YOU!!!ok, ok, that's a bit taking it too far but you get my drift. list down three or perhaps five of the best presents you wan to get this holiday season. i don't to hear about some juvenile cr@p about getting peace of mind or world peace or acceptance from friedns and loved ones or any of that sentimental bs. i want to know what gifts you would love to receive this holiday season, actual physical, insanely expensive gifts that would make your day. i know being rich is relevant, meaning what maybe expensive to me is peanuts to others out there but please be as honest, wacky, and innovative as possible. after all it is only a list but who knows, santa might be...
Do you know some imitation brand names?^_^
well, i have seen some of imitation brand names everytime when i go out to shop specially those in some cheap stores, in korean or taiwanese clothing & accessories stores... and sometimes i just smiled when i look at it while looking at this imitation signature brand names...;-)here's some of them:havaianas flip flops - hawaianas or havanasLevi's 501 Jeans - Live's 105 JeansGuess jeans - GuessiNOKIA - Nokla or Bokia ( disconnecting people ) LOL!Tommy Hilfiger - Tommy Hilfigure how about you my friends? do you some imitation brand names?;-)
what is the best pair of jeans
501's are what I bought after seeing A FRIEND OF MINE WHO IS 5'3 (i'M 5'5). They look good with hiking boots and sandle's and can really look great with a white blouse and heels too. In the summer while wearing my bikini I don't even button them, but fold over the flap's on each side and they are so cute with a short shirt like that. They also convert to shorts so easy. Hem or hem, they are great. They look good cut short short or down to the kness. Levi's 501's, a favorite for years. Hope I can do that again this summer. Hummmm...I better get to exercising ...lol..Have fun shopping!!!!
Are you willing to spend $60,000 for a pair of jeans?
The most valuable pair of jeans in the world is the 115-year-old Levi's 501 jeans which was bought for $60,000 by an anonymous collector in Japan. (source: guinnessworld records.com)Am I willing to spend $60,000 for a pair of jeans? Absolutely NOT! Even if I have that much money, I would not. My most expensive jeans cost only $30.How about you? Are you willing to spend $60,000 for a pair of jeans?
