| FREE Horses EVERYWHERE!!! | | Well, near me anyhow.
I've been offered 9 free horses and a mule in the last week alone! One of the horses is pregnant so should count her twice.
People just can't seem to afford to care for their horses in this stinking economy.
A friend of mine says where she lives, in the dessert, they are dumping horses off loose in the dessert to fend for themselves. (that's just cruel!)
I did agree to take one of them in but had to refuse the others as I already have three horse rescues and 2 of those are in the midst of training (Parelli) and aren't yet being ridden. The one I'm taking in we don't feel has ever been ridden, either. And, honestly, there is no such thing as a 'free' horse once you pay the bills to maintain them properly.What's the horse situation like in your area of the world? | |
